Dr. Martin has had his practice on Bedford for 30 years, and is still happily working 5 days a week. He earned his Bachelors of Science in Biology from Boston College in 1976 and his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1979. Dr. Martin practiced general dentistry in downtown Boston for two years, and then returned to Tufts to complete his specialty training in Endodontics in 1982. While earning his endodontic certification, Dr. Martin practiced in Back Bay Boston, where his two daughters would later live, next door to each other, while earning their own dental degrees. He moved to California to open practices in Westchester and Beverly Hills, and served as a clinical instructor at the UCLA School of Dentistry in the Graduate Endodontic Program.
Dr. Martin was awarded diplomate status in his specialty in 1992. Diplomates of the American Board of Endodontics are a distinguished group of endodontists who have demonstrated their dedication to professional growth and providing the highest quality of patient care.
Dr. Martin earned her B.S. from UCLA and her dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She completed a General Practice Residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in 2016, and then practiced in Los Angeles before moving back to Boston once again to pursue her specialty training. During her two-year intensive training, she focused on refining her diagnostic and clinical skills using state of the art equipment and modern techniques, including CBCT imaging, the surgical microscope, as well as the newest clinical electronic hand devices, all of which make the course of endodontic treatment more seamless and comfortable for the patient as well as for the clinician.
Dr. Martin is an active member of the American Association of Endodontics, the California Dental Association, and the Los Angeles Dental Society. She is board-certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.
